Meet the team

Dani Freedland – Charity Director

Dani is our newest recruit, joining the team in late 2018 and is responsible for the smooth running of the office in addition to directing our fundraising. Dani has a wealth of experience developing new initiatives and leading teams, working within leading UK charities including Action on Hearing Loss and Bowel Cancer UK for over a decade. Prior to joining the charity sector, Dani gained invaluable experience within PR and Marketing, working with leading brands such as British Airways, Barclaycard and Stella Artois and managing high profile events including the European Football Championships and The Stella Artois Tennis Championships. Dani is happiest when speaking with our wonderful supporters, but you may equally find her preparing strategies and overseeing the budgets.

Dani is the proud mum of twin boys and experienced first hand the wonderful care the neonatal unit provides to both parents and babies, when her sons were born prematurely and needed support of the neonatal doctors and nurses.

Samantha Streibl – Operations and Fundraising Executive

Samantha joined the Winnicott Foundation team in early 2017 and is our Operations and Fundraising Executive. Sam heads up all of our social media, marketing and supporter care, as well as leading on our fundraising and community events. You’ll often find Sam on the unit working closely with hospital staff, or having a chat with parents in the tea room.

Sam brings over a decade of experience from the charity sector, having worked with organisations such as Restless Development Uganda, Plan International UK and World Vision.
