What you can do to help…

  • £6 will buy an incubator safe vest to keep a baby warm and comfortable.
  • £10 will buy a hand breast pump for a mother to express her breast milk at home.
  • £15 will buy a gel pillow and pillow case to reduce pressure on a tiny baby’s fragile head.
  • £18 will buy a ‘zaky hand’ to comfort a baby when a parent can’t be there.
  • £75 will buy 10 ‘unreal’ sheepskins to improve the comfort of a premature baby.
  • £100 will buy books to help parents understand how to support their baby.
  • £500 will buy a box of nests to support premature babies in an incubator.
  • £1,000 will buy 2 x reclining chairs for parents to hold their baby in Kangaroo care.
  • £6,500 will buy a replacement ventilator for the transport incubator.

Payroll Giving:
If your company offers payroll giving you can make a monthly donation through your payroll.

Take part in a fundraising event:
Run the British 10K London run on Sunday 10th July 2011 as part of the Winnicott Foundation team. This fantastic race takes in Trafalgar Square, Embankment, Big Ben and the Parliament Square, and is both a manageable challenge for many and a fun event. Or take part in another organised event and raise funds for the Winnicott Foundation.

Organise a fundraising event:
Coffee mornings, concerts, school fundraisers, raffles, sponsored walks/toddles, cake bakes, football matches, cricket matches. We can provide stickers, balloons and sponsorship forms, plus put a note on our website. Contact us if you’d like some support.

Corporate donations:
Does your company offer a matched giving scheme? Can you nominate the Winnicott Foundation for a corporate donation or charity of the year?

Schools/Colleges/RAG Week:
