Emma, mum of Finn
We are eternally grateful to the immaculate care that was given to Finn during his two months in the unit. Obviously it was a difficult and frightening time for us all and I feel very lucky that he was born at St Mary’s and that there happened to be a space for him upstairs.
The Winnicott is an astounding microcosmos and the first time that my family visited Finn in intensive care, we knew he was in the best possible hands.
His birth and the first few months of his life have permanently transformed my world view and not a day goes by that I don’t feel immense gratitude to all the dedicated doctors and nurses who helped care for my baby boy. |
