Donate:
We rely on donations to help babies and families in the Winnicott Baby Unit
and are very grateful for all gifts received. If you’d like to discuss
making a donation, including over the telephone or by post,
please call 020 7886 6773/7896.

As a Winnicott Friend you will receive a regular newsletter with information
on baby and child care, particularly relevant to babies born prematurely
or who have been very sick. You’ll hear about what’s new at the
Winnicott Baby Unit, how you’ve helped this to happen and some of the
stories of the babies and families that your donations will have helped.
A monthly
donation of £8 will help to refurbish the parents room, provide
further books and information for parents and help to provide accommodation
for parents whose baby is very sick.
£12 a month will help us purchase leading edge equipment and expand
the unit to be able to help more babies
A Family Friends donation of £25 a month will help to fund staff
training to ensure all are up to date with the latest information related
to baby development and breastfeeding.
If you’re a grandparent or friend and wish to support the Winnicott
without receiving the newsletter, then becoming a Winnicott Buddy will
help us go a long way to supporting more and more babies and families.

£50 will buy 5 nests to help
keep 5 tiny babies feel warm and comfortable
£250 will buy a comfy chair for a mum or dad to sit in next to their
baby’s cot.
£1,550 will buy a special elevating cot that helps to reduce the
strain on nurses and parents when tending to a baby
£28,000 will buy a Giraffe incubator that provides the best support
for sick and premature babies

Organise a Fundraising Event:
From sponsored cake bakes to tea parties, sponsored walks to film screenings,
with imagination, hard work and lots of fun you can raise money for the

can provide advice, a sponsorship form and information to help you.
Gifts in celebration or in memory:
We are very grateful for donations received in lieu of flowers in
memory of a loved one, or instead of presents at birthdays, weddings or
other special occasions.

Our Fundraising Committee has helped to raise thousands of pounds for
